Welcome back, Dear Reader.  Part 1 of Who I Am were my answers to most of the company's requested profile questions.  There are some optional questions here that are fair game to answer, so here is a bit more about me.

What do you like to do when not at work?

Lately it's been sleeping...

Beyond that, I really enjoy hikes in nature, to be a little closer to God and to soothe the spirit.  Writing engages my brain.  I should read more.  Stage plays are great entertainment.

Used to play D&D and would like to get into a group again.  Maybe after I retire.

Are you Married?  Kids?

Single, probably for life.  Wouldn't mind dating again, but I'm a real oddball.  One adult son.

Any Pets?

I'm a cat person.  Had a tortoiseshell cat named Snickers because she had all the colors of a cross-section of a Snickers candy bar.  She was loving to my son and me, but vicious to anyone visiting the home.  One man noted "For a house cat, she's a good watchdog."

Is there a local cause that is close to your heart?

Abuse of women and girls bothers me a lot: domestic violence, MMIW, sexual assault and harassment, sex trafficking.  My father said many times in my growing up, "Always treat a woman like you would want someone else to treat your little sister."  A statistic says that 1 in 5 ladies in the world experience abuse in their lifetime, and that is unacceptable and infuriating.

I support organizations fighting these: law enforcement, HerCampaign, Haven in Bozeman, Deliver Fund, and Zonta Club.  Please let me know if there are others in the area making the stand.  If any of them asked for assistance, I am there!
